Admissions
As well as our reception class intake each year, in September, we also accept "in year admissions".
In-Year Admissions
Applications for year groups other than the normal point of entry should be made directly to the school.
Please click here to access an application form https://file:///X:/Admissions-Transfers/in-year-application-form.pdf
Completed forms should be returned directly to the school office, this can be done via email. Application outcomes will be confirmed in writing no later than 15 school days from receipt of application.
If the number of applications for the school, for any year group, is more than the number of places available, the oversubscription criteria (as per our Admissions Policy) will be applied. The same oversubscription criteria will apply if the school is in a position to offer a place from the waiting list.
For casual admissions the distance will be measured by an appropriate web mapping service using the walking option. There is no expectation for the child to walk the route calculated and it is a measure of distance for admissions purposes only.
If you would like to arrange a tour of the school or have any queries regarding the admissions process please contact the School Office.

How to appeal a school offer
If your child is due to start school in September 2024, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Tuesday, 16th April 2024).
You need to submit your appeal before Tuesday 14th May 2024 for it to be considered by Tuesday 16th July 2024. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department of Education.
For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance form the Department of Education.
We recommend that you still accept the place your child has been offered. This will not affect your appeal and will guarantee your child has a school place if your appeal is unsuccessful. If your appeal is successful you must remember to tell the school you were originally offered that you no longer want the place.
